The Glasgow River Festival is on this weekend, from 11am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday. It’s taking place around the SECC, the Tall Ship, and the Glasgow Science Centre, and there will be lots to do and see both on land and water: pirate ships in battle mode, jet ski racing, the chance to climb aboard HMS Blyth, duck racing, and vintage fire engines. Strathclyde Passenger Transport (SPT) will be providing free shuttle bus services from Glasgow city centre and beyond to the festival site. Check out the River Festival website for further information.
